I grew up with the sounds and words of the"old" music. Many members of my family played piano and Dad played harmonica. Every family gathering included a "sing-along". This tradition was carried on even after my generation grew up and had families of our own. As a young girl I accompanied Mom and Dad to local dances. There was always a live band and much talk and laughter. I loved to watch Mom and Dad dance It was as if they were one . Dad would guide Mom around the dance floor in perfect time to a waltz or fox-trot or any of the popular dances of the era. It is one of my fondest memories. This page is a tribute to them and the music they loved.

I have a small collection of old sheet music. Some of them I have framed and hung in various rooms in my apartment. Most of them are works of art. The main picture on this page is a copy of one of them. Enjoy listening to the "old" music of my Mom and Dad's day. I still do. Shurls
